Staycation With Girlfriends!

by - November 08, 2015

Me and le girlfriends had a plan last month to go to Cebu for a dose of Vitamin Sea.  It was supposed to be our first ever "out-of-the-metro" trip but there was a sudden change of plan and the weather did not permit us anyways, so we decided to go for a staycation instead.  And guess what?!  It turned out to be a better choice.

So, before uploading these on Facebook, let me share some photos here first.

Cheers to 5 years of friendship!

Ascott Makati has apartment type rooms, perfect for big groups and families.

We were given a 2-BR space facing Glorietta.  Honestly, we could fit in only one!

We were eating nonstop 'cause there's so much food.  Haha!  The we-have-a-lot-of-catching-up-to-do didn't stop until we dozed off.  We also played Monopoly, Sushigo, Tapple and Pusoy Dos, which by the way I learned in one night.  #newskillacquired

Here's one reason why we stayed up so late...

I really liked the huge windows and extremely comfy bed.

Since there was a typhoon, the swimming pool was closed and our plan to take a dip did not happen.  After breakfast, we just stayed in our room again while doing our usual random shenanigans ('cause that's just how we roll).  Stay tuned for our Dubsmash videos!

I swear.  Ascott's bacon is hands down the best one I've ever tried in my life!  Their brewed coffee's great too!

That's it!  We really had fun despite of the rainy weather.

Actually, we don't get to hang out too often because of our busy schedules but it's okay.

And you know what?  It feels so nice knowing that even though you don't have a lot of friends, it's fine because you still get to keep the best ones.  You too should remember that.  I think as we grow older, we realize that it's not the count that matters.

Love you, girls!
